Paper Mache Angels

  The medium I've been enjoying the most lately is Paper Mache: and I've designed paper mache Green Jackets inspired by The Masters with it this year.  I just designed four angels in relief out of the fun medium and the first three sold quickly.     Here is the last little angel: I really envision these hanging over a mirror or door in a home that they bless.    I love anything that feels like the colors of a quilt, and to me these little angels feel warm, cozy, and a little crafty.

Christmas at Home

It's no secret: I just love Christmas! And designing Needlepoint Canvases has made me love the holiday all the more: basically you are stitching for Christmas year-round, so the festivities are now always top of mind.  There is nothing better than decorating your home, opening your door to friends and family, and toasting to the holiday with a little cheer! The Family Fun Map Project featuring Marquin's Art!

In June, the Family Fun Map featuring exciting places to discover with your little ones in Greenville, South Carolina, was published by local publisher, Good Printed Things.  The fold out map is simple: it features twenty blurbs about fun places to visit with children written by my friend, CEO of The Children's Museum here in Greenville, South Carolina, Lauren Luneckas.   I had the pleasure of creating the artwork for the map, and have framed the originals we used and listed them for sale.  If one of these spots speaks to you, I hope that you enjoy these framed and matted watercolors!

Floral Love Note Collage Assemblages

I am so thrilled to have launched my latest collection with The Campbell Collective featuring my Floral Love Note Collage Assemblages: they are creations from torn, cut, and reassembled papers (including love notes as a nod to Valentines Day!)  I sincerely hope that you enjoy these: they were so much fun to create and really felt like recess (& a great way to ease into 2024!)
