About Marquin

     I am a designer and painter originally from Savannah, Georgia and now live in Greenville, South Carolina with my husband and two children. 

     I studied Drawing and Painting at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and went on to study Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. While in school I had wonderful experiences studying abroad in both Cuba and Italy, and those pursuits shaped me as an artist in many ways.

     While classically trained, my work has led me to a more contemporary palette and subject matter.

     I am interested in color, texture, shape, and movement.  Balanced energetic composition, energy, and fun are my artistic pursuits. 

     I have had the great pleasure of studying under artists Radcliffe Bailey, Gary Bodner, Robert Joyner, Melanie Morris, Patricia Kilburg, Patricia Wheeler, Patti Brady, Karen Weihs, and Phil Garrett.
