As I type this, we are flying over the Atlantic Ocean on our return from spending a year and a half in Spain. I am totally overwhelmed and blown away by the beauty, the people, the food, the and all the unimaginable intangibles we have gotten to experience during this time as a family. I know that I speak for all four Campbells when I say that this season will go down as a special chapter for us.
I have a few more of my Spanish Landscape Series left with The Campbell Collective.
They are colorful, layered, landscapes and I hope they resonate with you. Thank you to my great friend and collaborator, Amanda Louise for styling these photos for The Campbell Collective and to Emily Bolt's wonderful photography eye for shooting the paintings.
Today marks the last week of my two week vacation (!!!) to my hometown of Savannah, Georgia. I enjoyed photographing the scenery, daily sketch book work, and relaxing with family. My brother and I also participated in the Caretta Research Project on Wassaw Island and it was such a unique experience.
I was just editing photos that I will archive to use for a painting series. These are so pretty and serene, I had to share them.
Savannah, you were lovely as always... but I am thrilled to get back up the road and into my studio to get messy and slap around some paint!
