Angel Collage Ornament, Five
Late every year, I create angels. And every year, I like to be inspired in a fresh way.
In early October, I spent a wonderful week in Paris and took the train to Giverny, which was the home of impressionist painter Claude Monet. To visit his gardens and studio has been a dream of mine since the 4th grade, and I was absolutely overwhelmed in the most wonderful way.
And my art history loving heart was set on seeing the Sainte-Chapelle, the most incredible feat of stained glass, on the Ile de Saint Louis in Paris. It blew me away visually: the colors of the angels wings at the alter were the starting place for these creations.
I hope you enjoy painted and collaged elements on each of these angel ornaments.
This angel measures three inches, round and comes with a silk ribbon for hanging.
