Here we are: Week Three, which means the Calling it Home Blog's One Room Challenge is half way down!
First, lets talk about some more of the Art in the Room:
I used watercolors and some shimmery blue paint to create this pair of sailboats above George's bed. Framebridge framed these paintings up and I could not be more thrilled with how they turned out!

This side table was in our old house and I have situated a plant from Roots on a trio of old books, a Nautical Element from Michaels on the table, and a sweet pewter Elephant the girls at Croghan's sent me.
Situated on top of the books is potentially the most important nursery accessory: a Marpac Dohm Sound Machine. My 1.5 year old has one of their noise machines and it lulls her to sleep in a way nothing else can. It also is a pro at blocking out noises from around the house so that your little one can snooze despite you and your noisy friends.
The one that was sent to me is not yet out on the market yet. Marpac is collaborating with architect Michael Graves, who also specializes in product design.
My friend Amanda Louise was kind enough to let me use her work room to create the Roman Shades with my Blue Wave Fabric. This is a snap of them drawn down.
